We have served our traditional Christmas puddings each year at the Dahlia since we opened in 1989. Shelley Lance, our Executive Pastry Chef, began making this traditional Christmas treat for Tom when he was looking for a steamed pudding recipe. The puddings are aged for a full month so that the flavors of brandy, hazelnuts, cranberries, currants, pears and spices fully develop. Moist and rich, we think they make a great holiday present.

A recipe for hard sauce and serving suggestions are included in the festive gift package. We have baked only a 100 puddings so place your order soon. Each pudding serves 10-12 people and sells for $25 plus shipping. Please call 448-2001 to place your order.
