- PASSION AFIRE PARTY Thursday April 16th
- Join us at this annual tasting event at City Centre to benefit the
Pilchuck School. The evening features a tasting event plus a display
of the art works created by Pilchuck students. Palace Kitchen will
participate again this year, serving the Palace Crab Cake with Pickled
Peppers. The tasting is followed by a special presentation by famed
glass artist Lino Tagliapietra. Tickets ($35 per person) can be

- AN EVENING WITH RICK BAYLESS - Monday, April 20th
- Chicago chef Rick Bayless joins us at the Palace as we prepare a
five-course tasting menu from the Rick Bayless Mexican Cookbook.

- TASTE WASHINGTON - Sunday, April 19th
- A celebration of wine and food, this grand event pairs Washington
wineries with area chefs for a night of wining and dining at the
Paramount Theater.
At this year's event, Etta's Seafood teams up with Gordon Brother
Cellars '94 Merlot to serve Vine-Roasted Poussin with Chanterelles. A
Wood Roasted Squab with Potato Cake and Fava Beans from the Dahlia
Lounge will match a '96 Cabernet Merlot from Covey Run. And the Palace
Kitchen will serve Grilled Quail with Ramps and Merlot Syrup with
Columbia Crest's Merlot Estate Series '94. Tickets ($50 per person)

- TREFETHEN VINEYARDS CELEBRATION - Friday April 24th
- Palace Kitchen chef Matt Costello has been invited to cook at a
celebration dinner marking the 30th birthday of Trefethen Vinyards.
Portland's Avalon restaurant will host the Northwest event, one of a
series of dinners taking place across the country.
The dinner menus are designed and prepared by 30-year old chefs
from across the United States, each having been tapped for his or her
exceptional talent. The year will culminate with a convergence of all
the chefs in an October extravaganza at Trefethen Vinyards in Napa,
California. Proceeds from the anniversary dinners will benefit hunger
