Fish On! A Salmon Celebration!
Presented by Trustees for Alaska with Chef Tom Douglas, join us for an evening to celebrate all things salmon at Tom Douglas’ Hot Stove Society Cooking School in downtown Seattle. While Tom demonstrates some salmon tips and tricks in the kitchen, you’ll enjoy delicious bites and beverages while learning about the world’s last great sockeye salmon fishery in Bristol Bay, Alaska. Vicki Clark, executive director of Trustees for Alaska--an Alaska nonprofit law firm that protects Alaska’s land, water, wildlife and people--and Amy Gulick, photographer and author of the book, “The Salmon Way,” will be joining Tom in the kitchen to help share stories and news about protecting wild Alaska salmon and the communities that depend on them.
