Vietti Dinner at Cuoco

Cuoco is honored to host Elena Currado Vietti of Piedmont’s acclaimed Vietti Winery for a five-course wine dinner on Friday, February 7th. Chef Ron Anderson, who has recently returned from his travels in Northern Italy, is eager to replicate many of the delicious winter flavors and pairings that he discovered throughout his trip. Elena will feature five outstanding Vietti wines, including their Barolo Castiglione and Langhe Nebbiolo, both sourced from some of the most highly-prized terroirs within the Barolo winegrowing area.

For generations, Vietti Winery has achieved many revolutionary milestones from the production of one of the first Barolo crus (Rocche di Castiglione in 1965) to the single-varietal vinification of Arneis (in 1967). Elena and then entire Vietti team continue to balance the pursuit of quality with new, stimulating prospects and experiments, all while maintaining the family approach for which the winery has always been known for. 

We look forward to introducing you to these incredible wines, each carefully paired with delicious Italian fare, plus a few surprises along the way. This feast should not be missed!
