Sushi Kaiju is the latest creation from Carlile Room's lead, J.R. Head, blending two lifelong passions: sushi and giant movie monsters. Inspired by decades of sushi craftsmanship and a love of the Godzilla universe, J.R. set out to create a menu where every roll tells a story and is a beautiful display of art.
Drawing from the colorful worlds of kaiju, movies, and video games, Sushi Kaiju transforms classic sushi into something imaginative, and a little larger than life.
You'll find nods to iconic Godzilla characters throughout the menu, including the Ganime Roll, named after a giant crab monster and inspired by an idea he's been perfecting for years.
This pop up is a glimpse into the way J.R. sees cooking: as an artform - a way to layer flavors, textures, and a chance to bring all his passions together into one unforgettable meal.
