Neb's Wine of the Month

October 01, 2025 until October 31, 2025

October calls for a touch of eerie and a little playful mischief.

Giallo! Meaning yellow, after pulp paperback covers, is Italy’s own horror genre. We’re celebrating October by pairing three Italian directors with some of our most hauntingly delicious wines. We chose to honor the spooky, the hokey, the autumnal fog. Encapsulating this season’s bold aesthetic by keeping our wine weird (in a good way) and artistic influence weirder.

Orion Primitivo as Dario Argento.   $14/$56

Infamous director meets infamous varietal. This lush and fruit forward primitivo goes hand and in hand with Argento’s supernatural undertones and female protagonists.

Sant Angelus Grechetto as Lucio Fulci.   $15/$60

Like his films, this grechetto is provocative, animalistic, and uniquely Italian. Yellow apple, underripe pineapple, pear and jasmine. A world in and of themselves.

Montefalco Sagrantino Passito as Mario Bava. $17/3oz pour

This Sagrantino passito is representative of Bava’s rich tonality—Macerated plum, hibiscus, violet and a sweet wild cherry finish. Classic and heavily eloquent.
